Jerome McFarland July 16, 2018 NAS, file system, file services, Public Cloud, Data Storage, hybrid cloud

Today, we are proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Elastifile version 2.7. This new version further strengthens our pioneering, cloud-native, file storage solution and makes enterprise integration of cloud resources easier than ever before.

With v2.7, we’ve added support for expanded file storage configurations in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), creating a diverse portfolio of public cloud file storage options. In GCP, Elastifile now supports SSD persistent disks and Standard persistent disks. In AWS, Elastifile now supports SSD instance store volumes and EBS General Purpose SSDs. In both clouds, customers have flexibility to deploy and granularly scale these storage options in accordance with the capacity, cost, and performance requirements of their workflows...enabling efficient alignment between dynamic business requirements and underlying infrastructure.

In addition to support for expanded storage configurations, v2.7 also introduces a host of enhancements to further augment Elastifile’s best-in-class experiences for cloud-based storage deployment and management.
